Assistant or Associate Professor (Tenure Track), Ingram School of Nursing (L001850)

Position Description:
The Ingram School of Nursing of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences is seeking applications for a tenure-track position in the area of implementation science and/or technology-based remote delivery of nursing care. This tenure-track position is open for appointment at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor.

The successful candidate will be joining the Ingram School of Nursing at a stimulating time of growth and new energy with a recent expansion in education and research-focused faculty, major curricular revisions, and a new physical space featuring state-of-the-art teaching and research facilities. Job Duties:
The successful candidate will be expected to develop an independent research program and to contribute to undergraduate and graduate teaching for our diverse student body, including graduate student supervision at the master’s and PhD levels. They will also be expected to contribute to service activities within the School, the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, the University, or the wider community. A demonstrated commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion is also expected.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:
• Candidates will have been educated as nurses or have a research focus relevant to nursing, have a doctorate in a health-related discipline and a track record of peer-reviewed publications;
• Candidates with post-doctoral training and success in receiving external funding will be prioritized;
• Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to and in accordance with circumstances, a track record in equity, diversity, and inclusiveness (EDI) in such contexts;
• Candidates should be fluent in English; fluency in French would be an asset.
