Assistant Professor (1-year Contractually Limited), Statistics

University of Guelph

The Department of Mathematics & Statistics at the University of Guelph invites applications for a 1-year contractually limited faculty position in Statistics to start September 1, 2018 with an end date of August 31, 2019 at the rank of Assistant Professor. The position involves teaching statistics as the primary responsibility with some mathematics teaching required. The successful candidate will be expected to help with recruitment efforts.

Minimum qualifications are a Ph.D. in statistics or a related field and evidence of strong teaching potential at all levels. Previous teaching experience is required and previous experience in statistical outreach is beneficial. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
