Assistant Professor (CAS Clinical)
The Department of Psychiatry at McGill University is currently inviting applications for a full-time position as a member of the Contract Academic Staff at the rank of Assistant Professor (Clinical). This will be a three-year, renewable appointment.
The successful candidate will have a broad range of clinical abilities and aptitude for working in interdisciplinary teams in psychiatry and in the field of neuroimaging including the specialized area of neurovascular imaging. The successful candidate will be expected to facilitate the integration of standardized brain imaging protocols into clinical psychiatric assessments.The applicant will also have demonstrated experience in education and/or an active research dossier. The candidate will be appointed to clinical practice at the Douglas Mental Health University Institute.

Qualifications and Education requirements
• Must have completed advanced Psychiatry training (fellowship/graduate studies).
• Must hold an MD and be eligible for licensure as a psychiatrist in the province of Quebec.
• Advanced capacity to engage in all aspects of a university affiliated psychiatry department (clinical, education and/or research).
• Bilingual language competencies (French and English).
• Clinician-scientists with MD/PhD (or equivalent research-intensive training) are strongly encouraged to apply.
• Clinical experience with diverse adult psychiatric populations.
• Strong clinical/academic background working with neuroimaging and neurovascular imaging.
