About the Position
The Faculty of Applied Health Sciences and Department of Nursing at Brock University are pleased to invite PhD prepared nurses or those currently enrolled in PhD programs, to submit an application for a full-time, probationary tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor in Nursing, effective January 1, 2022.

The successful applicant for this position will support teaching needs primarily in the undergraduate program at the level of an Assistant Professor position. Applicants must have successfully completed, or currently be enrolled in, a PhD program in Nursing or a relevant discipline with at least one graduate degree in Nursing. Applicants should show a strong commitment to Primary Health Care, equity and inclusion. Preference may be given to candidates with a clinical and teaching background in acute care, community-based practice, maternal health, pediatrics, or mental health, although other areas of expertise may be considered. Applicants will also have a program of research and/or scholarship and publications already established. Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated experience and/or expertise teaching in nursing programs. Applicants must be Registered Nurses, holding a current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario in good standing, or evidence of eligibility to obtain prior to hire.
