Assistant Professor, Two Sessional Appointments, Computing Science

Saint Mary's University

DEPARTMENT OF MATHEMATICS AND COMPUTING SCIENCE FULL-TIME, SESSIONAL APPOINTMENT

The Department of Mathematics and Computing Science at Saint Mary's University invites applications for two full-time, eight-month sessional positions in Computing Science at the rank of Assistant Professor, to begin September 1, 2022. Candidates are preferred to have a PhD in Computer Science and must have established a strong record of effective undergraduate teaching. In particular, the candidates should have experience teaching first- year computer programming courses and labs in Java and Python. The successful candidate will be expected to teach five courses over two academic semesters. Some of these courses may be scheduled for remote (i.e., online) delivery.
