Dean, Graduate Studies and Research

The University of Regina seeks a collaborative, innovative, and strategic leader for the position of Dean, Graduate Studies and Research (FGSR). Reporting to the Vice-President (Research), the Dean (FGSR) will bring creativity and vision to the development of strategies that enhance graduate programming and foster graduate students' development as scholars. The Dean (FGSR) will provide strong leadership in creating a vibrant graduate culture by prioritizing diversity and inclusion while strengthening internal and external partnerships. The successful candidate will have experience in increasing graduate student enrolment and advocating for graduate studies and research.

The Search Advisory Committee will begin its review of applications in mid-October. Campus visits and interviews are tentatively planned for early November. The new Dean will take up the post May 1, 2021 with an initial five-year term, renewable for a further five-year term.
