Arthur Labatt Family School of Nursing

The Arthur Labatt Family School of Nursing, Western University, seeks an accomplished academic to join a leading edge School of Nursing with a 100-year history of academic and research excellence. As the successful candidate, you will have attained a PhD in Nursing (or related discipline), and have established a nationally/internationally recognized, independent, robust research program in your preferred field of study. You will have earned an outstanding reputation mentoring and teaching in graduate and/or undergraduate programs.

The appointment will be at the rank of Full Professor with Tenure. The anticipated start date is January 1, 2021 or as negotiated. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Successful candidates will have knowledge, expertise, and a solid record of research productivity that supports innovation and leadership in nursing and health. Priority foci and research areas of growth and significant opportunity will be in Digital Health, Women’s Health, Mental Health and Wellness, Global and Indigenous Health, and/or Violence, Gender, and Health.

The successful candidate’s research interests will parallel the School of Nursing’s Strategic Plan (2018-2023) and those signatures areas related to the Faculty of Health Sciences’ Strategic Plan (https://www.uwo.ca/fhs/about/strategic_plan.html). Specifically, the areas of health systems and health policy are of particular interest at this time. In addition to your research and scholarly activity, you will be responsible for teaching across programs offered in the School, as well as service to the School, Faculty, and University.
