Tenure-Track Assistant Professor in Indigenous History or Canadian History

The Department of History at the University of Regina is seeking applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Indigenous History or Canadian History. A specialization in Public History is desirable. Candidates with an interest in enhancing the Department’s Honours and Master’s internship programs through collaborations with local museums, archives, and heritage organizations will be considered favourably.
Applications should include: a curriculum vitae, a two-page cover letter detailing research, teaching, and public history experience (as applicable), evidence of teaching effectiveness, sample syllabus, sample research publication, unofficial transcripts, and the contact information for three references. Letters from references will be requested for those shortlisted. Additional materials will be required from candidates who advance to the shortlist. All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply; however, Canadians and permanent residents will be given priority.
