Assistant or Associate Professor -- Power Electronics, Smart-Grid Technologies, and Power Systems

The Faculty of Engineering at the University of New Brunswick in Fredericton invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) commencing July 1, 2024, subject to budgetary approval.

Successful applicant must have PhD degree in Electrical Engineering. Research and teaching pursuits in areas of power electronics, smart-grid technologies, and power systems are of interest to the department. UNB's ECE department's large research group in power systems and smart-grid technologies will afford collaboration opportunities. Candidate will work towards developing strong externally funded research program along with teaching, graduate student supervision, and academic service.
