Sessional Full-Time Instructor, Animal Science (Dairy)

Key Responsibilities:
• Teach courses with a focus on Nutrition and Dairy including Dairy Herd Management, Advanced Dairy Nutrition, Dairy Business Management, Genetics, and Applied Livestock Nutrition.
• Provide instruction in classroom, lab, and field settings, including preparation and grading of assignments and exams.
• Support and mentor students in the Student Managed Farm – Dairy Team in collaboration with farm staff at the Dairy Learning Centre.
• Participate in program and department meetings as required.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in animal science, Dairy Science, Agribusiness or a closely related field.
• Practical experience in commercial dairy production.
• Strong teaching, presentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate others while being committed to collaboration, effective goal setting and evaluation, and professional accountability.
• Demonstrates a passion for dairy production and for agriculture education.
• Knowledge and experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Additional Information
This is a sessional, full-time position covering a one-year leave, starting August 5th, 2025, and ending May 16th, 2026.
