Compensation Details: Starting salary will be commensurate with the successful applicant’s qualifications and experience and will be in the range of $115,000 CAD to $135,000 CAD.  

Position Profile: The Department of Psychology invites applicants for a Probationary appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor (tenure-track). The Department has particular interest in candidates whose research focuses on adult psychopathology, including its etiology, prevention, or treatment and intervention.Candidates who have methodological expertise in advanced quantitative methods are especially encouraged to apply. 

Academic and Clinical Expectations: As a faculty member in the Department of Psychology, the successful candidate will develop an active program of research and will, as part of their responsibilities, contribute to graduate student training in the Clinical Science and Psychopathology cluster.

Qualifications or Experience and Skills Required: Qualified applicants must have a Ph.D. in clinical psychology at the time the position starts from a program that emphasizes rigorous, evidence-based clinical science training; an outstanding record of research in the form of publications in high-impact, peer-reviewed journals, awards, invited talks and other scholarly achievements, as appropriate for their career path and stage; evidence of potential to obtain external research funding; and clear potential for excellence in supervision of undergraduate and graduate students. Applicants are expected to enhance current capacity for clinical psychology graduate training and must be eligible to become registered with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario as part of their involvement in Clinical Psychology graduate training.
