Tenure Track Assistant Professor in Accounting

The successful candidate will be joining a research intensive environment and will be expected to contribute to excellence in research and scholarship through high quality peer reviewed publications in their areas of expertise. Preferred candidates will have their primary research interest in the area of financial accounting and reporting, auditing, taxation or data analytics, along with a desire to teach these subjects at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in Accounting or equivalent. Candidates near the completion of their Ph.D. are eligible to apply providing the requirements for the Ph.D. degree will be completed imminently. Possessing a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation will be an asset. Although the Department is seeking an Assistant Professor, exceptionally qualified, experienced and accomplished candidates may also apply. Ranks and salary will be based on academic and professional qualifications, experience and accomplishments of the successful candidate.
