About the Position
The Faculty of Applied Health Sciences and Department of Nursing at Brock University are pleased to invite applications, from qualified individuals, for one full-time, probationary tenure-track positions at the rank of Assistant Professor in Nursing, effective January 1, 2021.
The successful applicant for this position will support teaching needs primarily in the undergraduate program at the level of an Assistant Professor position. Applicants must have successfully completed, or currently be enrolled in, a PhD program in Nursing or a relevant health related discipline. At least one graduate degree in Nursing is preferred. Applicants should show a strong commitment to Primary Health Care. Preference may be given to candidates with a background in pediatrics, or mental health, although other areas of expertise may be considered. Applicants will also have a program of research and/or scholarship and publications already established or in progress. Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated experience and/or expertise teaching in nursing programs. Applicants must be Registered Nurses, holding a current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario in good standing, or evidence of eligibility to obtain prior to hire.
