Contractually Limited Appointments (Two Positions) in Mathematics & Statistics
The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at McMaster University invites applications for two 12-month contractually limited appointments as a Lecturer or Assistant Professor. The expected starting date for these positions is September 1, 2019, and the salary will be commensurate with experience. The teaching load for each positionwill be six courses spread over the duration of the appointment.
We seek candidates with an advanced degree (PhD or MSc) in Mathematics or Statistics with a record of successful teaching at the university level. Preference will be given to individuals who can contribute to our popular undergraduate program in Actuarial and Financial Mathematics, but we invite applicants from any area of mathematics and/or statistics.
