Teaching Term Appointment Position in Environmental Science - Chemistry

An 8-month teaching term appointment in the Environmental Science program of the School of Science and the Environment, Grenfell Campus, commencing September 01, 2021 and ending April 30, 2022. This position supports the teaching of courses throughout the Fall and Winter semesters of 2021-2022.
Duties will include teaching in support of a B.Sc. in Environmental Science, and include teaching some of the following suite of courses: first year chemistry (lectures only; 1200, 1001); second year organic chemistry (lectures plus labs; Chem 2401 - Introductory Organic Chemistry II, Chem 2440 - Organic Chemistry for Biologists), and lectures only ENVS 3260 – Industrial Chemistry. Alternative assignments might include senior courses in environmental chemistry. Preference will be given to candidates with a Ph.D. (or near completion) in Chemistry, Environmental Science, Biochemistry, or a related area.
